What is you need to prepare

Since we are beginners, i’ll be introducing to us the things, you need to be able to highlight your work at home.

Olive oil bleach powder

First and foremost one of the most important thing is your bleaching powder and i have with me the olive oil bleaching powder.

Tour & guy developer

The next thing is your developer and this is the tour and guy developer.

Mixing bowl and brush

You’ll be also needing your mixing bowl. this is where you mix everything in

Clips

Your clips to hold your hairs in place for it not to mess around

Gloves

Your gloves to protect your hands from the chemicals

Brush

your brush to comb your hair

Comb

Your comb to also part the hair and also comb the hair what’s the brush couldn’t do

Black Rubber

Back rubber to act as a foil

Shampoo and conditioner

Shampoo and conditioner that’s what we’ll be using to wash our hair.

This is the before of the wig we are about to die.

How to mix your bleach

What we have to do is to mix our bleach powder in our developer and to mix this, as beginners i advise we mix it in base. First pour a little bleach powder in your bowl, before you pour in the developer in the bleaching powder, do it in base that pour a little.

Then mix it to check whether you need more or it is okay. That is the best thing to do, because if you don’t do it in beaker and you pour too much your solution or whatever you’ve mixed is going to be too watery, we don’t like that.

After mixing, if you realize needed more developer, because they were excess powder in the bowl, so poured it a little and mixed it until the consistency it should be thick and not watery. Also make sure you wear your gloves before you start everything.   

First bleaching of hair -How to highlight human hair wig at home

The first thing to do is to patch your hairs, because we can’t just bleach it anyhow, we have to bleach it in sections and this is where you’re going to be needing your clips, you’re going to pack the hair into sections, then we start with the bleaching.

Taking a little bit of the hair you section and comb it, then take your bleach mixed apply it on generously making sure it’s going everywhere, after that it makes it transition in the hair very nicely, that’s what you’re going to be doing. I will do with the first one and the second one and the last one on the first section. 

With my bleaching, i don’t want any black strands in it and want dark roots at the front side of the hair, so it’s going to be like a bit brownish whilst the ends and the latter part of the hair is bleached generously with a little bit of highlight in it.

That’s how i’m doing my highlighting for first section, then should take the next section and repeating the same process. After whole hair apply on, put it in ablack rubber, as we don’t want lightening to be able to enable the way die very fast, it should be placed in a very dark environment or a dark space,  it helps the wig dye very fast.

After 45 minutes, i will apply the shampoo in a bowl to wash the wig, you should generously wash and the dye will be come out. This is the first washing, i’m going to throw the water away and refill the bowl with another water pour a little bit of the shampoo in the bowl, then wash it again.Please make sure that the dye comes out of the wig very well.

Even if you wash your own hair twice, you also need to remove depth of your hair, the next thing is to use hot water to condition the hair, hot water plus are leaving not a leave-in conditioner hot water plus a conditioner, there’s a difference between a leave-in conditioner and air conditioner , after pouring the conditioner in the hair and wait for about 10 minutes for it to soak up in a wig very well. Then air dry it, lay it on the towel and next day the wig will be dry, you will find the wig color is beautiful.

Second Highlighting of Wig

The next step is second dye and with this dyeing, you’re not going to dye the whole hair again, we are going to dye some pieces of the hair some parts of the hair, because we want some highlights a little bit of highlights in the hair, so take some part of the hair and leave some of the hair.

We start with first section, and take a bit hair of first section. Generally i use the tail comb do this, becomes it is very useful. You use the tail comb to take some of the hair, to release some, take some, release some, take some and release some, to enable you get half of the hair off the tail comb and half of the hair beneath the tail comb. Then take the mix bleach and apply it on the hair off the tail comb.

After dyeing the first section, you should dye the next section and repeat the same process as first section, then we are going to put it in the black rubber bag and wait for one hour before i washed it, so as i earlier on told you guys we put it in the black rubber to enable it to have some heat the more, it’s placed in a very dark space the more is able to die very well.

An hour later i removed it from the rubber and wash the hair, the first step is to put it in a clean water apply some shampoo in and wash it very well, then wash it again, after wash twice, apply the condition in the hair in the water and wait for about five to ten minutes, then you air dry it.Finally you will get a super beautiful color, the little bit of highlights in it.
